Hi Brad - as promised. This is a nice creamy pea soup recipe - good way to use up leftover ham...Chris Wash peas and place in large saucepan
Add water, chicken broth, 1 cup ham, carrots, onion, celery and butter and bring to a boil;
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2.5 - 3 hours, or until peas are tender;
Stir in milk and remaining cup of ham
Add salt and pepper
Reheat to serving temperature and Garnish with croutons.
